I'm very frustrated with my EyeTV software since the Lion upgrade. It's just been unstable. It doesn't record shows that I have on schedule and it seemingly randomly stops communicating with my HD Homerun device despite the fact that I can use the device with HD Homerun viewer on Windows. Overall, it just feels sloppy. Does anyone have any alternative suggestions to recording HD Homerun using native mac software?

I have not had any problems with Lion and eyeTV 3.5.4 and HDHomeRun. It failed once because it crashed during a recording, but other than that, I have been using it for several months now.

I also have had no trouble with the same setup: Lion and EyeTV 3.5.4. What computer are you using?

Another vote saying it works brilliantly for me.

OSX 10.7.2
EyeTV 3.5.4
Silicon Dust HD Homerun

All running perfectly - even recording in HD - exporting to Apple TV etc.
I also have a WDTV Live Streaming box (2011/2012 model) that can read the native Eyetv files right off the network. It doesn't get much better.
