I bought a Hauppauge USB TV tuner from a guy off of Craigslist thinking the company was Mac-friendly and I could use it on Mac OS X (hopefully either OS 5 PPC or Snow Leopard Intel), but I can't easily find any Mac drivers and my EyeTV Lite isn't recognizing it (I already have it set up for a different USB stick so that might be the problem).

Any suggestions?

That WinTV-HVR-1950 seems very similar to what El Gato has sold as the 250+...

but El Gato didn't provide blanket support for all of those Hauppauge tuners, it was usually on a case by case basis. According to this page:

http://www.hauppauge.com/site/suppor...ab=6#operating

it doesn't list EyeTV under 3rd party support, so you may be out of luck. Here's a Hauppauge tuner that is officially supported by EyeTV, the WinTV-HVR-950Q, and you'll see that it is mentioned under the 3rd party tab:

http://www.hauppauge.com/site/suppor...t_hvr950q.html

In any event, I suspect you'd need a real version of EyeTV rather than a "Lite" version.

There is a list of all the compatible tuners for EyeTV on Elgto's website :

Thanks for the responses and links. I'm wondering now if the Mac version of Sage might do the trick...
