Shockingly enough, I see nothing of significance in using the new version.

Just a word of warning to those thinking about upgrading,

I just did the update the first time in a long time that I have done so without first waiting to see if anyone else reported any problems and bang. Now my eye tv video screen displays a blank screen regardless of what channel is selected. Old recordings seem to play back fine it's just live tv that seems to be effected. I think if I were elgato I might have thought to check the software worked in the most basic fashion before sending it out!! I have since downgraded to 3.5.5 and everything now seems fine.

Maybe I will leave feedback on there forums...... oh... Maybe not then!

What an absolute shambles!!

For those interested I have a Mac mini core 2 duo with 4gb of ram on latest snow leopard release and I have the eyetv diversity. Any one else having problems?

If it ain't broke, I resist mightily the urge to fix it, and sometimes succeed. Just worried that with encrypted local cable channels now allowed, Elgato may abandon us before putting out a useful 'upgrade'.

I take it all back, I have just re tried the update and it seems to have worked perfectly this time. Not sure what happened the last time I tried the update...
