Here is the thing;
I wanna get the $39.99 version from their site, but I've noticed that it mentions "EyeTv2" is required in order to buy the $39.99 version of EyeTv 3.
I don't wanna spend 79.99 for the so called "Full Version" Can I just get the $39.99 version without having EyeTv 2 installed?

\I hope this makes sense, Thank You.

Another strategy might be to look for an older used tuner on Craigslist or eBay that includes the EyeTV3 software already? I suspect more and more people will dump their older models because 1) the software hasn't really evolved much, 2) El Gato switched to a yearly TV guide fee and 3) it's become increasingly more difficult to record clear QAM from cable (and soon that will disappear entirely.) You could always resell the tuner afterwards w/o the software disc/serial number card.

Any other software similar to Eye Tv 3 that I can get?
I have a Mac mini and a Hauppauge 950Q USB Stick.

Not unless you're prepared to go the Parallels or Bootcamp route. And if you were, you might as well do the HD Homerun Prime. No front end in OS X yet fully integrates a TV tuner, which is unfortunate since everyone would dump EyeTV and that competition might finally incentivize El Gato. JRiver is touting a port to OS X but "video" is a year away, so they're late to the party as well.

I don't wanna get another USB tuner, All I want is to be able to record my TV shows like before.
Even if I get another USB stick on Ebay, it's not gonna come with a serial #, I will have to buy the full version for $79.95.

You can tell from the eBay listing if the item comes with the software, and can ask the seller if it includes the serial #. I got my copy that way, along with a 250+ tuner, which is great.
