There must something to make it.

Go right ahead then. Just know that YXY is free, you alread have a PC and I spent more on prisms than I did on the 2nd hand 16mm 2x lens.

All Scope films will have black bars on a display that is narrower than the film. Scaling removes the black bars.

Maybe you need to do some reseach in the DIY section. It all depends on the TR.

Those are conventional teleconverter lenses. It will change the focal length by a factor of 1.7x. They will change the image size in both the horizontal and vertical directions. You need a lens that changes in just the horizontal direction.

Not that he needs any defence, but he may be too polite to respond.

CAVX is a very knowledgable member who designs/builds/sells (delete if not appropriate) the Aussimorph lens(es). For the reasons already given (that you need optical enlargement in only one direction...horizontally in the usual case) it will not work for the playback of images from a projector. I really don't think he needs to 'try it' to be able tell you it won't work and save you the cost of buying one and wasting your money.

Zooming: Been there, done that, bought the lens...

I think you're on to something. Since lenses are lenses and glasses are lenses, just find an old pair of glasses and you're good to go! Don't listen to people that say it won't work because they've never even tried it.

HOLLY COW..... I bought a isco 3L and all I needed was my glasses....Please tell me what glasses does VC/VS...because I'll give everyone that comes in my room them. This reminds me of a ad I saw on a plane about glasses that makes images bigger then what they are.

I didn't need to.

1. It is a camera capture lens, not a projection or display lens.
2. It is not an anamorphic lens.

Don't bother with the heart ache. If you really want a DIY prisms lens, just buy two of the trophies. At least they won't leak.
