Might be accumulating things in the wrong order but... I bought a new in box Panamorph UH380 with the motorized sled and remote! This is a re-branded Optoma unit, which might have helped getting it for a fairly reasonable price. Nobody else apparently knew about the re-branding. Can't wait to get it, although I don't know why. The room is far from done and the projector isn't even bought yet! I guess I can hold and look at it.....my precious.....

This weekend the stage and screen wall are slated for construction.

Nothing wrong with getting the A-Lens first. If anything, it keeps you focused on the end result.

congrats, I've got a UH380 via b-stock from avs here, very happy with it.
Mines on manual DIY sled, lucky you to have a motorized sled.

You know that means you need motorized masking to go along with it
Manual masking just won't match.

I know! I was just going to make masking panels but am now looking into the components and engineering a possible motorized masking setup. Since I am going to be building my own AT screen, I guess making a motorized mask might be doable. Don't know yet.
