Anyone in Kansas City willing to demo their theater?

I am in the Kansas City area and I have a lot of decisions to make for my home theater. That includes, what kind of screen, what kind of speakers, masking, etc.

There doesn't seem to be a wealth of places in the area to demo a lot of equipment and setups. So, I am wondering if there is anyone here on the forums in the area who would be willing to demo their theater so I could get an idea of how some things look and sound? I'd like to see various setups. I am pretty sure I'm wanting to go with a 2:35 CIH screen, but beyond that, I'm not set on much.

I'd like to see an AT screen with speakers behind it. I'd like to see non AT screens too. I'd like to see setups with speakers on floor. I'd like to see in-wall speakers (Triads and other respected names if possible). And I would be interested in seeing different masking systems as well.

Of course, if anyone knows of places in the area that I can go to demo, that information would be appreciated as well.

There are several people in KC that will open up their theaters. Reach out to carp and get a list of his contacts. It depends on what all you want to see and experience. It's a great group of guys there.
