I've got an HDHomeRun and it uses VLC player to tune into HDTV channels (along with a panamorph U85). I've been experimenting with the aspect ratio controls. I've got no problem setting up a custom ratio for horizontal compression, but can't figure out how to setup vertical stretch. Anyone have any ideas? An aspect ratio like 1:1.33 ends up doing horizontal compression. A ratio like 2.35:1 does vertical compression. The only ratio that seems to vertically stretch is 16:10. So I'll go enter 16:12 to see if that stretches it more, but it only horizontally compresses. I'd love any nuggets of wisdom out there!

Thanks

I haven't tried VLC...but Media Player Classic stretches. It hooks into FFDShow too.
