I'm using an old Gunsmoke cabinet. I want to go LCD monitor. I need to figure out what size LCD monitor will fit & how I'm going to mount it. Gunsmoke had a vertical monitor. I play games that mainly use horizontal monitors i.e Mortal Kombat etc. It is 14 1/4" between the red lines & just shy of 21 1/2" between the green lines.

What are my monitor & mounting options?

Also need to block off the space around the monitor as the paper blockoff that was in there for Gunsmoke obviously won't be the right size. ???

Just out of curiousity, what LCD are you thinking of? One of the "arcade" models or something PC?

I'm just starting to work on this as a project and have been reading everything I could about what monitor will work best. I am very hesitant about trying to work with a heavy CRT although most of the build threads seem to say it is still best.
