I can't believe there aren't many mainstream boards out there that interface with a computer.

With that said, I have found 2.

The first:
www .stormcomputershop .co.uk/index.php/accessories/gadgets/wireless-pc-dartboard.html
www .unplggd .com/unplggd/software/usb-dartboard-025434

(had to split up the URLs because of my post count)

I have not found any place that sells the second model and the first model is so cheap I can't imagine it works well.

Basically, I'm looking to provide a similar user interface to a home dart board as those presented with Arachnid coin ops. I'm willing to spend around $300. I'm really surprised there aren't any bluetooth boards out there. Does anyone know of any models i might have missed that can interface with a computer? If not, do you know how I could go about my own?

I'm a software programmer, so if there is a dartboard out there that can plug into a computer and the software is lacking I could likely right might own software/database. I'm lost when it comes to hardware though.

I really don't see why no manufacture has come up with a bluetooth dartboard that sends the number you hit to the computer, the software can do the rest.

If I can't interface with a computer, what's the best I can do with $300 for a board.

I appreciate all responses

Any luck finding something for this yet? I have looked for something like this for a while, but never had any luck. Basically my goal is to make a bar style dart board on the cheap.

What do you want the computer to do?
Just display scoring info or operate the board totally so the board would just be an input device?
