Anybody else played Anki Drive?

I bought this for my kids for Christmas and it has been a huge hit for the entire family. I received a slot car set as a young kid that got years of play and Anki Drive brings back alot of good memories. I highly recommend the game.

I hope this forum is the appropriate place to post this.

I have wanted an Anki Drive ever since I first saw it and read about it.

I have purchased a couple of slot car tracks for my son, but none ever seem to work for long.

It sounds like you highly recommend this game. Is there anything anyone needs to know before buying it?

There is something to know... Anki is coming out with a new system which has a release date of September 2015. The new system is called "Anki Overdrive" and will have new cars and the biggest improvement of course will be a modular track system which will allow you to create and build your own track configurations by purchasing add-on track packs. The original system had simple roll away mats. The base set for "Overdrive" has an MSRP of $150, which includes 10 track segments. I've played the original Anki Drive, but I'm waiting until this September to add this to the game room.
