The same deal as last weekend has started up again this weekend but with a different coupon code . . . $800 off the Denon 4311ci at newegg.com with a new coupon code: DEN1217A . . . Making it $1299.99.

You have to have signed up for their email advertising list first, or the code will not operate for you....so, sign up if you have not already and then want the deal.

Just ordered one myself a Denon 4311 a few minutes ago from newegg. Looking forward to replacing my Pioneer Elite SVX-94TXH . . . It served me well, but I need the 1.4 hdmi, and the Pio 94s continue to have drop out issues and firmware upgrades you have to take to an authorized dealer and leave...no internet firmware upgrades for that Elite incarnation...and they do not always help or get the firmware upgrades right . . And now my beloved Pio has a known and frequent lockup issue for the model in need of a board repair only one guy in the country is doing for $100 if and when he can get the parts from Pioneer . . .

Guess I am just justifying spending $1300 dollars in the middle of the night while my lovely wife sweetly and unknowingly sleeps. I hope she enjoys her new Christmas gift when it arrives in 3 days by UPS . . . "SURPRISE, HONEY . . . Here is your new AVR! Merry Christmas!" At least it is not a vacuum!

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by! --Douglas Adams

Outstanding deal! Time to download the manual and begin learning this awesome beast. It will probably take the better part of the 3 day UPS shipping time, if not longer. Wonder if UPS can honor 3 day shipping in this busiest time of the year? Santa may be a little late this year........

Well, I called them on Sunday, when the deal was still active. They matched no problem and shipped for free. J&R was going to match too no problem, but they charge sales tax to NY and EE does not, so I went with EE to save an extra $100. If you missed out, I would wait and hope for another deal to come up. If you can't wait, Dave at ext 156 from EE is super nice, and I'm sure he will hook you up with the best price he can. I had a quote of $1380 shipped before the Newegg deal came up again.

This was such an awesome deal. I love 9.1 (Wide). I upgraded the firmware as well. Easy as pie.

I was able to sell my 3310CI for the same as I paid.

Yay!!!

The only thing I need now is a good deal on quality speaker stands for the FRONT WIDE and CENTER.

Is this deal dead? I tried yesterday but got notice of an invalid code. I'm kicking myself for missing the Onkyo 5008 deal so I'd love to hop on this one!

I initially tried to order through newegg and the promo code has expired however i called electronics expo and they knew about this deal and matched it without any reservation for 1299. Just give them a call as it seems others have done the same..

I have a feeling with the ongoing debate of newegg being a non authorized dealer, the deal may not surface again with newegg. Its probably better to buy from a authorized dealer such as EE.

There is "no debate" Newegg IS an authorized dealer..

I'm sorry but if I have an email from Denon Corp that they are an "authorized retailer" then the debate is over for me....

They are slow alright, but mine did ship yesterday after ordering on the 18th. A week from order to ship is a bit long, but the Holidays were in the way too. It's all good though with the big savings.....

EE and JR are both selling it for the same price. I placed my order from JR on tuesday and they shipped out today. I read a lot of bad reviews on amazon about EE and their processing times.

Not a debate anymore. . .

DON't BUY FROM NEWGG UNLESS YOU DON't want a warranty!!!

Just spoke several times with Denon . . . Having troubling getting AirPlay to work on the 4311ci I just bought from Newegg and got in last week.

Denon csr verified, his words, "Denon just took action against Newegg for passing itself off as an authorized dealer.". What action? I have no idea.

But he flatly informed me that I have have zero warranty on my new Denon 4311. So . . . It stinks.

I bought from newegg the day before I knew Electronics Expo was doing price match with newegg.

The Denon CSR said I should have waited until the 4312's come out . . . The 12's (like the 3312ci) have the airplay issues resolved.

The Denon rep said I should send my 4311 back to newegg . . . Fine, but newegg only replaces avr's in the first thirty days after purchase . . . No refunds.

So, I have a new 4311ci with no warranty . . . Nobody to blame but myself for pulling the trigger and trusting newegg csr I talked to before ordering . . . Of course, I did not tape record the newegg CSR saying they were an authorized dealer.

Rhetor - I dont care anything about the airplay what so ever. If you want to sell your 4311 let me know. I might buy it from you. Obviously the REST of the AVR doesn't have any warranty so that will have to come into play but I'm sure we can work something out.

Assuming you bought with a credit card, contact your cc company.

Bought it on a platinum VISA...does that get me some kind of warranty status?
