Just spoke several times with Denon . . . Having troubling getting AirPlay to work on the 4311ci I just bought from Newegg and got in last week.
Denon csr verified, his words, "Denon just took action against Newegg for passing itself off as an authorized dealer.". What action? I have no idea.
But he flatly informed me that I have have zero warranty on my new Denon 4311. So . . . It stinks.
I bought from newegg the day before I knew Electronics Expo was doing price match with newegg.
The Denon CSR said I should have waited until the 4312's come out . . . The 12's (like the 3312ci) have the airplay issues resolved.
The Denon rep said I should send my 4311 back to newegg . . . Fine, but newegg only replaces avr's in the first thirty days after purchase . . . No refunds.
So, I have a new 4311ci with no warranty . . . Nobody to blame but myself for pulling the trigger and trusting newegg csr I talked to before ordering . . . Of course, I did not tape record the newegg CSR saying they were an authorized dealer.
