They offer products at crazy low prices. The site looks very real, but when you get to the checkout they want you to send cash to China through a third party. There's no way to link the product to the money directly. It looks like a UK domain, based it USA, and all money goes to one person in China. It even looks like the product will be shipped locally somehow. They also seem to have multiple websites with the same products. They'll just keep changing names and taking money, and the only thing I can do to stop them is this post.

I bought a Onkyo NR809 from new egg a month or so ago for 649.00. Thought it was a pretty decent deal. Really like the receiver so far.

It's a scam. Check out this link.

The entire MO of that place is identical to what you'll find I've already encountered, so it appears as though the vermin have resurfaced. Not that I didn't expect them to, of course, but it's just disheartening to see they changed absolutely nothing but the URL.

If you take yourself too seriously expect me to do the exact opposite

Why walk into the lions den wearing a meat necklace? You know it won't end well. I did it as a research project of sorts, to find out how these b@stards work their scams and what could be done about it when they were reported. You should read my accounting at the link above - it will save you a bunch of money.

Most of the links to the credit companies at the bottom of the page are not live links and the ones that are do not have the site listed as being a verified store. There are several sites out there that all seem to point back to the same scammer. Many of them pop up in a Google Shopping search.

From what I have heard, once you get to the final checkout there is only one pay option with some lame excuse... and that pay option has no recourse when your money goes missing with no purchased item to show for it.

The only forms of payment they accept are Western Union and direct transfers to their Chinese bank. Neither method affords you any recourse when they steal your money.
