I just passed on the Aventage A-820 for 499$ without a dongle from newegg. I'm holding my breath with a TX-NR-616 for 349$ getting delivered next week. It's got all I need accept reliability. The up shot is of the three authorized service centers in a several state radius, one is about 5 miles away. I picked up the WIFI dongle for $23. I had a little bit of an issue with the WAF when she found out about the $499 I intended to spend on the A820 when she starded adding up the cost of the new tv I just hung on the wall and everything else i'm buying to put the system in place. Sometimes the WAF trumps all.

I almost bought the 820 for $500 also. The 773 is built on the exact same chassis.
The 820 does have 2 more hdmi inputs and more inputs on the front.
The 773 has the same power supply and weight. Didn't need this much
receiver for my garage 2.1 airplay, but the wifi will simplify install. The 775
has a different chassis, but the same connections. Ebay was $650+ and
everybody else is still $800 today so I ordered the 773 today for $480 shipped.

+1. My 616 died after 2 weeks of what I call fairly light use.

Ha Ha, WAF trumps all logic. I'd have gotten the Costco 1522 if she didn't have such a fit.
