Since I would have to run wire and install a new breaker, It makes more sense to do a 240v 30a. Looking at the specs it says 115 @60hz and 230v @50hz. Can this amp run on North American 220-240v 60hz systems or is the 230v designed for 50hz Europe only?
Never mind, looks like it works on both. Geez.. that means I can't run my AC, Dryer, Oven, Air compressor and PA 7-350 at the same time or I might trip the main breaker.
115 VAC or 230 VAC +/- 10% @ 50 / 60 Hz (selectable by rear-panel switch)
Power consumption: up to 4000 watts under maximum load
Note: We STRONGLY recommend that the PA 7-350 be attached to a dedicated power
circuit. Under real-world conditions, with typical loads, playing music, the
PA 7-350 will deliver full dynamic power when attached to a single dedicated
115 VAC 20 A circuit! If the PA 7-350 is to be used for demanding commercial
applications or under laboratory conditions, a dedicated 230 VAC 30 A circuit
is REQUIRED. Please contact Sherbourn Technical Support if you require more
