You might consider the Sherbourn SR-120 on close out over the Onkyo

At least consider.


I like Onkyos, own one myself, - but that Sherbourn is also nice and cheaper on the closeout.

The Sherbourn SR-120 been out of stock for some time now and I don't think there ever going to get more units, never....

The NR818 is unable to pass through a 4K HDMI signal (although it can upconvert to 4K, go figure).

So theoretically if you get some 4K equipment in a few years and you have a NR727 then it will all work together. The NR818 won't.

Other than that the NR818 is a better unit overall.
