Thanks! I just picked this up. I had allocated $250 of my total budget for a receiver but I couldn't pass this deal up

I was impatient and ordered a new Yamaha RX-V475 from Crutchfield. It is already on its way here. I'm troubled now, I can still get the RX V673 for $299 on Amazon, but I'm wondering if it is worth the trouble of sending the other one back (I'm assuming that will cost me just $10 based on what I read about their return shipping policy, somebody please correct me if I'm wrong). Also, I was thinking that Crutchfield would be a far safer option in case I need a warranty service (I can always just buy a $20 additional coverage from a third party when buying on Amazon, so maybe that isn't a big deal).

Any suggestions? Should I just be content with my earlier order of a V475 or should I return it and get the V673 from Amazon right now?

As I understand it, Costco has the 6750 (675 w/wifi adapter included) for $389.

The 6750 is not available at every Costco, and you can't order it online. So this is a big YMMV.

My local Costco only has Pioneer SC-1222-K...

Thought the costco deal was good at $389...went out and purchased right away, then this deal popped up...geez! What is a guy to do?....Ordered the 673 and retuned the 6750wa...saved over $120 including tax. Only thing that I don't like about the deal is that I miss out on Costcos great return policy. Oh well, maybe I can purchase Amazons 3 year warranty after the fact. Reciever should be here on Tues.

I got mine too, 299 delivered. Added the WiFi adapter for $79
Helluva deal

Needed to replace my aging... aged Yamaha RX-V2300 that randomly shuts itself off
Moving down from 110 W to 90 W
I hope it sounds as good as that old horse

Anyone out there still running this old series?
