Here's the 50" version for $658. How can they do it? The reviews look pretty reasonable.

Great value but I've never hear of the company and it's longevity would be an unknown for me

Feet or inches?

In the United States,

50" would be 50 inches.
50' would be 50 feet.

I have yet to see a 50-foot (diagonal measurement display screen) TV at my local Best Buy.

My very humble setup:
Man Cave:Vizio E500i-A1 "Smart TV" (50-in 1080p 120Hz LED/LCD, has Netflix app.), Blu-ray players (Sony BDP-S3100, old LG BD390), Roku (the original model: N1000), PC (Windows 7), Comcast Internet (25Mbps/5Mbps).
Bedroom:LG 32LV3400-UA TV (32-in 768p 60Hz LED/LCD), HD DVR (Motorola RNG200N), Xfinity Comcast cable (Digital Starter Package), DVD/VHS player.

great deal if 24hz to 30hz is enough for you..ie movies from 4k upscaling 24hz output BD player or capable htc/computer
but def wait for next gen if gaming is important imho
just ordered another 39" as a backup monitor
