yep, not available within 50 miles, here is the message I got:
We've searched all the locations within 50 miles of your zip code and the item is not available for store pickup near you.

If you want to see more stores, enter a new zip code or see if this item is available for shipping. mad.gif

Why go out to a movie theater?

It's a "new" racket advertising a ridiculously low price in some non-existent store. Sears does the same thing with featured items online that can't be actually bought anywhere.

Sears/Kmart does this bait and switch all the time. They are supposed clearance items and are never available for shipping. When you enter your zipcode the price changes to the normal price or they tell you they are out of stock within 50 miles.

Yeah,
Well I guess one could call and complain to their Regional/Corporate office and or call them to find out where the stores have them for the advertised price of 199.00. We have no K-Marts in my area and I do not shop at Sears, so don't shoot the messenger !!biggrin.gif
Plain and Simple, I seen the deal and posted it. If it's not a real deal then that's sorry on their behalf.

Honestly you don't want a cheap 720p 51 inch, it won't take to long before you see really how poor the picture is.. Save your money and get 1080p.
You will start to see the screen door effect, fuzzy picture and mosaic patterns in big patches of the same shades.

Your start to see the screen door effect, fuzzy picture and mosaic patterns in big patches of the same shades.

If one has 20/20 vision, one would have to sit closer than about 9.95 feet to see any difference between a 720p and 1080p TV set that is 51" (assuming all else is equal). See:

http://www.digital-digest.com/articles/HDTV_Viewing_Distance_Calculator_Guide_page1.html

http://carltonbale.com/1080p-does-matter/

Many people sit that far away or farther from such a set. And many people have worse than 20/20 vision. So whether one would want such a set or not depends on how close one will sit to it, as well as on one's vision. Many people pay for resolution that they simply do not use from their viewing position. And many people are going to foolishly upgrade to 4k when they are not sitting close enough to see all of 1080p.

God willing, we will prevail in peace and freedom from fear and in true health through the purity and essence of our natural fluids. God bless you all.

I have a Panasonic TC-P50X1 720P I purchased new (2009) in my bedroom. The picture on this TV is excellent in a low light room. I have a Panasonic LED 1080 TC58LE and side by side the plasma PQ is just as good.

Life is no harder than you make it.

I once made the mistake of buying the cheapest samsung 720p 50 plasma (the last model before the 51 incher) about 3 years ago, and sold it just over a year later. Overall the PQ wasn't bad its just that I started to become dissatisfied with all the limitations of 720p units over 1080p units. I started to see the screen door effect, a fuzzy picture and mosaic patterns in big patches with all colors (blacks mostly). Anyway I would never buy a BIG screen 720p again.. All major brands sell the same model in 720p and 1080p, the 1080p is without a doubt better and cost more, so that only means buyers are buying by price not PQ. Since a big screen is something you will use a lot it pays to buy what you really want.. Smaller screen sizes maybe somewhat acceptable in 720p, but a bigger screen will just magnify the shortcomings of 720p units. So don't let the lower price blind you, like it did to me.

Plus one to jack the rippers post. 1080p, 720p makes no difference if your not sitting at proper distance. If you have a 51 inch 720p tv and sit 10-12 feet back (as alot of people tend to sit their couches at the very end of a room) then the tv being 720p doesn't matter. If your buying a bigger tv or sitting pretty close (more like 8 ft) then invest in a 1080p tv.

That's not to say that this k-mart special isn't crap smile.gif.. Get a better 720p tv!
