Thanks!!! I just purchased it for $290 @ Crutchfield after applying $10 off coupon "10BUCKS".

I was originally going to wait few months for the Best Buy's yearly Clearance for these but I rather get it now at this price. Best Buy Clearance with tax would probably have this receiver for ~$254 or so. I am already impatient. Now to find what speakers to match these with.

If anyone wanted this deal, it’s on again right now. X1000 is $299, the E300 is $269! These two models have been up and down price wise for several weeks, so I imagine we’ll see this deal again.

It's being closed out in preparation for the arrival of the new model, the AVR-X1100W. The MSRP is now $299 for the AVR-X1000. The price of $329 including shipping basically means $299 plus $30 shipping!

For every new thing I learn, I forget two things I used to know.

Ahh, thanks, that explains the continued lower price and on Amazon, not showing X% off, it’s just $299 outright.

Maybe we’ll see random sale on the new MSRP smile.gif I’ve got a slightly wonky Pioneer VSX-1021 I’d like to replace (left channel goes out, returns with a little whack to the unit ... fun.)

FWIW, Woot! had a sale on the 1513 for $99 (factory refurb). Great for a very entry level.

Where do you get that the msrp on the x1000 is 299? Denon still shows 499 as the msrp

Several posters in the Denon threads in the "Receivers Amps and Processors" sub-forum have posted links saying so. I don't have them handy but if you look around there, you'll find them.
