Took this to Best Buy yesterday and they price matched! Wow! They had it at $429.00.

A guy I work with got spooked on the HDMI handshake issues with this unit. Hopefully it works out for you guys.

My Costco only has the Sony dn-840 and it is 349.00, w6in 1out hdmi, 1040 has 8in an 2 out for my combo projector and tv, that's big for me!

It's sad that the first thing anyone has to figure out is if the HDMI handshake on a unit is decent or not. Not channel output, audio features, etc., but if the thing actually works.

Are there any receiver brands that are less prone to HDMI handshake issues? B/C it seems like most new receivers are gonna have this problem regardless...
