Polk PSW10 Subwoofer $75 shipped

For those who haven't seen it yet, this has been going on for a couple of days.

It's through Adorama and I ordered one today as a second sub for my system to fill the other side of my room. Hard to find a decent powered sub for $75 much less delivered.

Good inexpensive subs and they are great speaker stands if you attach the towers to the wall to prevent the subs from shaking them off. I have two on my 7.3 and could use a couple more for my old 5.1 but Adorama's YELP reviews aren't very reassuring.

turbosteve, be sure to post your results with the company and the sub.

Will do, I've used them before buts it's been almost 2 years ago. I can say for this order though that I placed it around 8:30 this morning and by 12:00 I had an email saying it was packed up with a UPS tracking number and would ship out today. Lets see how long it takes them and how the product looks.

you guys must love that sub better than I ever did. 50W sub that only goes down to 40Hz.

But for $75 you can't really complain.

I've never owned one personally but really love my Polk towers, so I've got some hope for it. It's gonna be an extra fill sub to compliment my Martin Logan sub. I think it's to small as a primary sub unless you lived in a NYC apartment or one of the Tiny Houses you see on TV. Either way it's suppose to arrive today, not sure if I'll get it hooked up tonight but I'll post on here as mentioned above.

I think the PSW10 is good as an addition to other powerful systems but not as a standalone. I meant to say that the one I bought was the PSW108 which is a 50W peaking at 100W.

Let me know how the PSW10 does.

Wanted to give a quick followup on this as promised.

The sub arrived from Adorama on the day it was scheduled and everything was in great shape. I was waiting on a splitter from Amazon to arrive since my sub cable was mono so I got it wired up last night. I recalibrated my AVR (Denon X2200 - still looking for a newer model) and I'm pretty impressed so far it has a nice sound for only being 10". It seems to hit some lower frequencies than my 10" Martin Logan and with the two of them together compliment each other well. No regrets ordering this, good price fast shipping and solid sound.

Now I just need to keep tweaking my audio again since my center stage still sounds week. Audyssey dials my center WAYYY back like -10.5 or so and bringing that back down to the -7.5 to -8 helps a lot but it doesn't sound quite right. Thats another discussion though and I don't know how much time I'll spend tweaking it since I'm looking for a X3300, X4200 or X4300 to replace my unit which will have better Audyssey from the get go.
