Two differences I see: 1) 5-way binding posts and 2) Magnetic Grilles.

The RBH's will will 10x better than these. These would be ok garage/kids room/lowest upgrade from TV/PC speakers.

Just curious, what are you basing that opinion on? Price?

The break down of them on Amazon shows them to be almost identical to the Daytons, they don't have a real xover, the drivers are unimpressive, the box is of marginal quality.

I bought two pairs of these since they were 50% off buying two. Also had some Discover rewards points and ended up paying just over $20/shipped for the two sets. These are very much like the Daytons overall. Can't say they sound just like them, due to it being a few years ago when I owned the Daytons, but I remember thinking the same of the Daytons. Bass is thin and the treble is on the bright side. Not terrible speakers but its interesting these have 5 way binding posts and magnetic grilles that the Daytons don't have. Kinda like putting Enkei chrome wheels and flowmaster exhaust on a 1992 Plymouth Colt.

I got these in, and they sound ok, a bit thin and harsh. The problem is cabinet resonance. Just ruins the listening experience. Audyssey would fix the sound, I'm sure, but not the resonance. Maybe more stuffing will fix the resonance, I'll try that later.

for 20 dollars there's just no complaints lol. People pay $50-150 on really crappy Logitech or Creative speakers, even they sound anything like Dayton B652, they're much greater than those.

Even worse when people spend $200+ on soundbars that sound much worse + lack stereo imaging compared to a pair of $40 or even $20 bookshelf speakers...

Yeah, at 20 bones these are passable for general use. At their $40 normal price I wouldn't recommend them. The AJ Pioneer BS22's have been on sale quite often lately for $68/pair. They absolutely destroy these generics in sound quality and bass.

Just picked up 2 pairs for $40 total for my backyard theater i'm putting together. I tried them out in place of my Hsus in the family room, and had to chuckle at how light they are compared to the Hsus. But for $10 / piece, they don't sound too bad. Will definitely work for my purpose. The vinyl isn't great, but is better than i expected for the price.

I would think so. The coupon still works as of yesterday, but it brings it down to about $30, not $25 now.
