Bowers & Wilkins CM10 S2 "CLEARANCE" at Best Buy $1599 (each)

A Best Buy Rep just alerted me to this one. In Store Only. I was going to grab the MartinLogan - Motion 60XT with free 700W Sub deal but the CM10's seem hard to resist for almost the same price. I don't think I've ever seen them discounted.

Saw that too, very tempting, maybe theyre coming out with an updated model?

The rep suggested a model might be coming that has a housing made of some of the same materials found in their 800 series but I've been unable to find any info online that suggests a S3 is coming.

My Magnolia rep suggested there will be a new 700 line using 800 components to replace the CM line.

Looks like I'll be able to pick them up for $1400 (Open Box).

The whole CM line is being discontinued and being replaced by a 700 series. I talked to my local authorized dealer who actually placed an order for them yesterday.

Rumor is that it will have the continuum drivers from the 800 series. Not sure if it will get the Diamond Dome Tweeters or Aerofoil but would be nice if it had!

The speakers may make an appearance at CEDIA 2017 in September.

Just to save some of you the trip, all area stores I tried are all completely out of new stock of the CM9s and CM10s for sure, and limited to out of stock on the rest of the range.

The stores still have a few display units left but those are going fast as well.
