I had almost placed an order for a set of 4 Berkline 099s that were non motorized at a local dealer. While surfing the net I saw an ad for HT chairs at a store very appropriately called- THE DUMP. They had a variety of HT chairs by Motioncraft, Sherrill and Berkline. I picked up a set of 4 Berkline 094s- leather, motorized with both cup holders and serving trays. The sticker on them also said BUTTKICKERS. Very well knowing what they are I asked the salesman who said " take a look at the set, don't they kick butt?" I said they certainly do after I pulled up the chair and made sure the units were attached. ( only 2 had them). The price $1800 for the set. Simply amazing. The non motorized I had seen elsewhere were priced at $3000.00.

If you go to thedumponline.com you can find a store near you and maybe make a deal. Good luck.

bills2k,

I assume you live nearby one of the stores and did local pickup, or they delivered to your door. Which location did you purchase from? I will call and see if they do out-of-state shipping.

Thanks!

it's my understanding, they don't deliver. just another way they keep the costs down. you have to pickup and i believe they only allow pickups on saturdays (which is a madhouse to say the least).

site is............. thedumponline.com

i've seen the chairs bills is talking about and do concur, they are sweet. i almost picked up a set of four as well when i was there a couple of months back but wifey didn't agree with me.

I am about to move to Dallas, TX in the next year. I may have to wait and drive down to Houston to pick me up some HT seats!

A little bit hipper than Crockett and Tubbs...

The Dump is an outlet of Haynes Furniture based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia. They usually have a Dump store in the same cities that there is a Haynes, but not always.

The dump get overruns and leftovers from Haynes as well as the last portions of stock from various manurfacturers. Very good prices if you can find what you want.

Be sure to check out the current Powerbuy they're organizing for Berks here: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=547305

Based on the price I paid for motorized 090s delivered, I'd imagine the 099s will be at least as good a deal as mentioned here.
