touchsmart or touchdumb? touchscreen isn't a real touchscreen, but rather an IR ring around the front of the monitor that tracks the position of your finger on a 2D plane. When the plane is broken, it interprets that as a mouse click. It isn't microscopically precise, but the big buttons of the custom interface help compensate for that to a degree. Sure, it looks great, but sometimes its choppy or laggy in reacting to your touch, making it feel less than intuitive.Another con is Keyboard is missing media keys and it uses a mobile CPU.It's all about hype and looking slick but who cares if it doesn't add some form of functionality or improvement on the user experience.

Oh my... Why does it still have a defective Nvidia on it? I'm almost certain that this will get fried in a few months after only a couple of hours of use each day. Hopefully HP will be able to come-up with something that offers VALUE and not cheap and defective parts from Nvidia - the master of not owning up to their mistakes.
