At more modest prices, I'm a big fan of the Sennheiser HD280 Pro and I just picked up a pair of Harman/Kardon CL headphones on clearance for $99, a steal IMO. Biggest disappointment? Logitech UE6000. I really wanted to like those headphones, but the active mode ruins them.

Oh, and head-fi.org has been an invaluable resource.
