I have a question about calibrating this TV. Since most of the calibration is a picture, can you download the pic(s) to a usb flash drive and plug it in the usb slot? If so where do ya get the files, and what size should the pics be?

YOu could just spend $20 for a test disc and be done with it.

Most TVs and their USB sections have separate memories for the settings there versus the normal portion of the TV. You calibrate the images via the USB ... but those settings are not applicable to the rest of the TV anyway. Sort of like applying computer settings from the RGB section of the tV to the rest of the set. Does not work right.

You are no better off and in some cases ... even worst off.

Does it matter the means of which the TV is calibrated... If you use a DVD will the TV be calibrated for HD?
