Hi

Ok, so I just bought a samsung B530 and i hooked up my ps3.. The thing is that i've been tweaking around with the calibration but I can't seem to find the settings that suit me best...
Game mode looks good but I still believe a better quality image can be achieved..
Can anyone using a similar samsung model with a ps3, post his settings??
thank you

Greetings

Give this thread a good read. It is about the value of sharing settings ... or lack of value that is.

Given that, copying numbers is not calibration so this thread is in the wrong forum area. If you want to copy numbers, you should go to the plasma forum area and get your numbers there until you are blue in the face.

If you want to get serious about calibration, then you need a test disc at the very least and you follow the instructions.

We are here if you somehow still don't understand the instructions afterward.

You get out of it only what you put into it.

Hi,
thanks for answering..i'm sure you can tell I'm a newbie..
So I was looking at DVE blu-ray essentials.. Because I don't fully understand, will
this disc help me set up my HDTV for optimal movie viewing, or can I use it to calibrate other stuff like my PS3???

Best regards

Greetings

Yes it will .. but to a point. To get to that optimal point, you need more than a disc. You need measuring instruments and a software program to run it and lots of time reading how to do it.

Or you figure your time is worth more than that and you hire a professional to come in and do it for you and teach you while he does it.
