Greetings

Choice of local guy or traveling calibrator guy.

Choice of someone that comes in and out in a flash and does it but says little or someone that educates ....

Will a calibrated tv and no understanding of why it is so mean anything to you?

Greetings

If you can't find anything locally, then you look for traveling calibrator guys.

I hadn't even thought about that. Can I really learn something I'll be able to use? Aren't the tweaks too complicated for me to replicate them anyway?

Ok, no replies with suggestions. When I make some calls, what questions do I need to ask so I know if the ISF tech is serious? What gear should he have? What tests should he do?

Greetings

Do you want someone that just does it and leaves you wondering what was done and why? Lots of guys can do that. Or do you want a person that explains ever step of the way ... the challenges ... the choices ... so that you understand the questions.

Answers without understanding ... mean a whole lot of nothing. Without understanding, wrong answers can seem more correct than the right ones.

Hey Guys,

I'm in the same boat... I found a few ISF people in the montreal area but I don't know if they are good at what they do. I've had my Panny a little over a year, have about 300hours on it so far and I feel its now ready to be pro-calibrated.

Thanks,
Joey

Greetings

So if you are not confident with the local selection, you have to start looking at traveling calibrators ... or learn it all yourself.
