I installed a new updated lamp in my DLP and the deep blacks are not black enough, I've tried all the gamma settings and no settings get the black deep enough. What item do I adj. in the service menu to get the blacks deeper. This has a new color wheel already installed.

Thanks

Try cleaning out the inside of the cabinet.

Black is basically the lamp + the mirrors + internal reflections.

So you need to darken the inside of the cabinet, dust can raise black levels.
You can't do anything about the DLP mirrors.
If you have a lamp setting, turn it down.

Other than that, their isn't much you can do (assuming you've set brightness correctly).
