Stacey Spears is moving to another job area, not calibration related area, so it's sad because we loose him for calibration community, if it was moving to other company related with calibration...then the news should not be as sad. It's unknown if he will have the same interest to finish his calibration disk now. (I hope the new job will not slow down the plans for S&M3 UHD calibration disk.)
For CalMAN users, it's sad to have different person per year as color scientist, last November (2016) Joel left also (which color scientist also), I believe this fact will slow down the development.
Before 3 years was great for calibration, all where active at AVS and generally to new developments...Joel, Stacey, Zoyd....it was more interesting period.
