Ok so it's been a number of years since I ventured into calibrating my display. I decided to give it another tune up with the help of the newly invigorated HCFR and ControlCal.

I would appreciate any help with the results. My intention was to fit gamma to a BT.1886 curve and colour to Rec.709. I seemed to have a lot of trouble with blue.

Here's the HCFR calibration file and here were my settings:

Contrast: 28
Brightness: 0
Sharpness: -5
Color: 3
Tint: 0

Color Temp: Manual
R-High: -4
G-High: -2
B-High: 2
R-Low: 0
G-Low: 2
B-Low: 0

Colour Space: 2
Colour Management:
Red -4
Yellow +3
Green +2
Cyan +1
Blue +5
Magenta -2

Black Level, CTI, ACL, Intelligent Mode, DRE, 3DNR, Mosquito NR, Field NR, Block NR all "off"
IP Mode: 1
3DYC: Mid
Enhance Mode: 2
Pure Cinema: Standard
Text Optimisation: On

Gamma settings were:

1. R=1, G=1, B=0
2. R=0, G=0, B=0
3. R=0, G=0, B=-1
4. R=0, G=0, B=-1
5. R=0, G=0, B=1
6. R=0, G=0, B=0
7. R=0, G=0, B=0
8. R=0, G=0, B=0
9. R=0, G=0, B=0

BT1886 Actual
0.05 0.05
1.00 1.06
3.64 3.71
8.39 8.56
15.57 15.96
25.44 26.08
38.25 38.39
54.18 54.22
73.44 73.14
96.19 96.39
122.60 122.60

Thanks in advance for the help.

Steve
