Hi Folks,
I have a Pioneer Elite Pro1130HD and an iScan Duo. As sources I have a TiVo Premiere, an Oppo BluRay (93?), an Apple TV, and an XBox. I understand that I can use my iScan and a device such as the i1 Display Pro III to calibrate my display. I'm looking for a document that explains how to do this. The i1 can be had on Amazon for $200 now, which is reasonable. Is additional software required, or can I perform the basics with the included software?

You will have read, read, read, and read again my friend. It's how we all started.Suggest searching for grayscale for dummies, go to chrompure.com and look there explanations on calibration. I've started this 2 years ago and I consider my self a super noob with calibration.
