HelIo had My Plasma Samsung PN59D8000 calibrated last year by Precision Video Calibrations a Florida based company , they did a exceptional job and it was my second calibration done by the Don .
Now since then Ive probably easy hit the tv with about a 800 hrs of use , is it necessary to do a retouch to the calibration . or should I wait another year ? The picture still look amazing to me and i did all the fixes the the tv . So my question is , is it time for another calibration adjustment and if not so when will be the right time
Cheers . . .

Greetings

I tell my guys 18-24 months ... but it depends on the tv.

Pioneer elite plasma... pretty much never again. Once is good for the lifetime of the set. Normal 6 years before people turnover things. (REvisited some 2 and 3 years later ... no change at all)

Stick to the 2 year thing.

Thank you Michael for the quick response , the 2 year idea sounds good to me and hopefully I dont any rising of my blacks .
Ill stick with that strategy and hopefully Ill get 6 years out of my plasma smile.gif
