I have a 42lm5800 that I have been dying to get into the service menu on. Does anyone happen to know how?

Why would you need to get into the SM? LG has calibration controls in the User side for at least the last 4 to 5 years now.

If you need to get to the SM, you are in real trouble in terms of calibration knowledge.

Sub contrast and sub brightness primarily.

Again, what are you trying to accomplish that you cannot accomplish in the user side? LG sets have no issues setting contrast and brightness.
