Hi would this budget meter be any good for calibrating a LCD TV.
In particular a 8000 series samsung.
Would hcfr have support for this or would it be better to purchase the colormunki display

If you are looking for basic software and meter here is the SpectraCal C3 with CalMAN tutorial.

Thanks Derek I really like the look of that package but living in the uk I worry I would get hammered with import duties tax etc
The c3 was my 1st choice but I'm looking elsewhere because of customs

An option would be to find a X-Rite D3 retail for cheap in the UK and then use it with CalMAN.

I'm from the uk and have just got a Colormunki Display which is absolutely fantastic. I have had a quick go at Calibrating my 51D8000 plasma and the results are night and day, so easy with the Display and it's quick at reading.

Can't recommend it enough and from the UK as myself it's the best value option out there

Cheers, Steve
