what happens if you put the 2041 after the receiver ? so all sources go to pre amp then to lumagen which outputs to projector.

It works fine...just like the way a mini3d would. If you need to have different settings for different sources that are not covered by the input resolution differences you can use the "virtual" input capabilities....ie you tell the scaler that when input 2 code is received it should look at input 1 for video but load all the settings on the Input2 memory you are using

The lumagens process video very fast all things considered. I've installed hundreds and the only time i come across lip sync issues is not to do with processing delays, it's to do with some weird auto lip sync correction or hdmi interface issue between devices...ie you need over 200 ms delay but it varies during a film or with different content....which has nothing to do with actual processing time but something to do with other stuff. I'm not saying you wont run in to this problem but i think it's uncommon

It works fine, just as Gordon says. That's how I have my 2021, after the receiver. No lipsync issues.

Today Lumagen is annoucing the Radiance 2020 video processor.

The Radiance 2020 is essentially the (now retired) Radiance 2021, minus the COAX audio output and in a smaller case.

It has exactly the same video setup, processing and calibration feature set as the Radiance 2021.

Highlights:

4 HDMI 1.4a inputs (max 1080p60)
2 HDMI 1.4a outputs (max 1080p60)
9x9x9 Linear-Gamma RGB CMS
Darbee DVP(TM) enhancement
Image-based auto input aspect selection
RS232 command port
Wired IR command input
12 VDC power supply
Case: 11 x 1.7 x 5 inches

Note that the Radiance 2020 is not rack mountable.

The US retail price for the Radiance 2020 is $2495.
