Which calibration disc do you guys feel is the better of the two if any? I"m looking to calibrate our 55 inch Samsung LCD tv's. I have been looking into the WOW and Spears & munsil disc and didn't know which one would be better for me to use.

How elaborate a calibration are you intending to do?

They're two free ones that you can download from AVS. AVS709 and Mascori's

Samsung 64F8500, Panasonic 65VT50, Oppo 95, Tivo Roamio for OTA, Dish VIP722, Marantz AV8801 preamp, Rotel Amps, Atlantic Tech 8200 speakers, Seaton Submersive HP, Calman 5, Chromapure, Accupel DVG-5000, i1Display3pro, i1pro2, eecolor colorbox.

This will be the first time ever doing something like this. I guess I would like to do it the best I can. I was just reading on the net about these two disk.. If I read right the spears & munsil disk also does the surround sound also.

Greetings

In order for the test disc to help you with your audio, you will need a sound pressure level meter. Discs can't magically sprout hands to do this for you.

Go with the S&M disc.

You are just doing user controls anyway.
