Have seen one if these for sale........haven't been able to find any information at all on this spectro. I suspect that some of the pros here would perhaps know a little more?
FWIW it's yellow.......looking to buy a replacement for my stolen gear mad.gif and am considering this....

it has been a while and other things have required my attention but,
Greta Mc was the precursor ot Xrite.
something about selling out to xrite.
I believe the revD series xrite is the latest greatest.

Presumably this is an i1 before GM became xrite - it must be old.

I have an old GM eye one beamer. It is identical in use, operation, and yes speed to the rev d i1 Pro except the beamer has poorer low end performance.

i believe there are some gretag macbeth rev d's - this for example is listed as such

Also I think EFI ES1000 is the same as xrite i1 pro but with the UV cutoff - here's a listing for a rev d ES-1000

It's a rev a, apparently 3 years old....is there anyway to check it via serial number?

part number will give you more info regarding rev, but that looks like an old one. Almost certainly not Rev D

It's a rev a for sure. Released I believe at the same time the efi es1000 uv cut model was released.

I've asked Calman to see if this supported.

Just to throw this out there for how good the Rev D is, I bought a used rev d off ebay as a back up meter. It was 2 years out of date and when I had it calibrated it still passed. I have no dealings with the earlier models but the D model is very nice, it is faster reading than my old chroma 5 on the higher IRE readings.
