Does anyone have any info on this sucker? Better/worse than i1D3? What about the software? It says that it is used for a specific series of monitors, but one monitor review site uses that software and probe to review any monitor type.

BTW, wasn't there supposed to be a thread about accuracy of each of the popular colorimeters? I remember someone posted a picture of one of those super-expensive meters and said "soon" suggesting that such a thread was going to happen when i made a thread asking how in-accurate Spyder series was,

This is a device to measure the color content of objects placed under the aperature. This can be a color swatch (standard) and then compared to anything else. There are also standards that it can be set to observe individually. This is for printers of labels for products that need a color replication in the millions. End products can be color matched from artist concept, to graphics presentation on a display of any type and even the labels on products off the retailers shelf.

If this is true, how come it's advertised as a display calibration device (i.e. it takes emmissive readings)?
