Correct Workflow?

In calibration my JVC 4810, I am using the following workflow and I want to see if I am doing gamma in the right order:

1) check meter position for max light output
2) brightness contrast
3) greyscale using offset and gain controls
4) gamma using multipoint controls (white only)
5) re-check greyscale
6) CMS
7) re-check brightness and contrast

I had very good results with a 2.3 gamma response and I dropped it to 2.2 at 20 and below. All greyscale errors are 1 or less. CMS is pretty good too, but needs further tweaking.

Am I doing gamma in the appropriate order?

Can anyone comment on my placement of gamma in my workflow?

Idk anything about projectors but that's the how I do a flat panel calibration except w/more iteration....like 2pt WhB- GS/Gam-CMS- BrCon- GS/Gam- BriCon- etc
etc.

Yeah, I didn't write down all the iterations and a final check that would normally do. Are you talking about a flat panel with a multipoint gamma adjustment? OR just preset gamma modes?
I can adjust gamma at 11 points to customize gamma as I want it. I do this step after I set greyscale, and then jump back and re-check greyscale again.
