Green Blacks on Sonys

After doing traditional 2 pt calibration on Sonys, I tend to end up getting a green push around 10% gray. Every other value is fine however. You can clearly see the green on the brightness pattern (17 and up). Is there any way to fix this without ruining the rest of the grayscale?

On my Panasonic plasma, I was advised to only calibrate the high end to avoid red blacks.

Greetings

Yes ... use a 10 point system ... a 100 point system... a 1000 point system. Wha!!!! the sony doesn't have one? Get an external processor to fix the problem.

Or compromise the dark end and fix the green by using your eye.

When I fix the green by using my eye, the rest of the grayscale gets tampered with. I guess I can try just the high end next time.

Greetings

Sometimes you just accept that your TV is imperfect. Every TV has some idiosyncrasy ... different they may be. If this is not an issue, then there is another issue that will bug you and you fixate on that.
