Clean optic, i1display pro (3)

Hi,
How do you use to clean your optic / lins on your i1display pro or other meter?

I can see a little dot like dust or something on my optic and I have tried to blow a little easy on it but it dont disaper.

How should I do?
Use a microfiber blanket to easy clean it?
You know the blanket that you can clean your glases with.

Go to your nearest photography store; they will sell you a lens cleaner and have proper advice as to how it may be cleaned.

If the user manual does not instruct you, contact the manufacturer before trying to get advice from forums.

yes George but I have not gotten any replay on my email yet from x-rite.

So I have tried to blow on it with no luck.

But now I have purches a little blow-thing, that sucks in air then blow it out again and a little pensile soft one and that works great.

The I1-Display Pro (aka, i1DP3) lens is not very critical. Small amounts of dust will not bother it. The lens collects light, then it goes to a diffuser (like a white translucent screen). It isn't making a sharp image or anything.

If you get it all gunked up, that would be different. Don't do that.

OK I understand.

I have just used the plastic blow thing and a duster-pensle thing on it.

I have not toutch it with anything beside that so I'm safe I guess.

Beside when I did blow on it before with my mouth, I guesd that some saliva / spitt can have gone out of my mouth but I did not feal that so.
