I'm relatively new to HDTV...I have received a hand me down RCA D52W20. It's a 52" CRT RPTV, I have tweaked around in the basic settings and got it looking pretty good. However I have some major overscan issues with my A3 and really bad convergence on both sides of the screen. The sides are blurry with alot of red shadowing.
While watching movies on my A3 the picture is really high up the screen with about 3-4" of space below. I know how to get into the service menu but have no clue what to look at. Also when looking at the A3 loading menu, the spinning drive at the top right corner is only about 1/3 visible.
I have tried adjusting the convergence but it never seems to get right. If I get one section right another one is thrown off...so if there is some specifi order to go about this I would love to know it.
