Is the falcon series the 65nm chipset? if so then no, I know 2 people with them and both RROD-ed

If it's the even smaller 45nm, not sure... the RROD issue NEEDS to be resolved stat. MS is losing customers specifically because of this. I know many people who went PS3 because of multiple RROD on multiple systems.

Onkyo 605 / Paradigm Titan / Paradigm CC Center / Paradigm ADP rear / HSU STF-1 / HD-A2 / 40gbPS3 / 360elite / Wii / PC

falcon CPU is 65nm, the GPU appears to be 80nm.

The next revision is 65nm on both. 45nm is probably a year off...only a company with really deep pockets is using 45nm and at low volumes. The volumes a console will require means that 45nm has to be mature and it isn't.

Yes, I wonder how many PS3s have been sold as a direct result of the RRoD issue. I know it will probably be a few weeks at the minimum before I get my 360 back. Heck, I havent even recieved the box yet to ship it back. I might be tempted to go buy the PS3 now. I've sort of been looking for an excuse to get one. This could be it.

How the heck did you get your XBOX to RROD so easily? I've actually forced my xbox to RROD and it automatically shuts off w/ 1 flashing light.

I went through 2 360s and now own a PS3. I may pick up another 360 from Costco cause I have GOW and a couple of other games I bought right before my last one went down that I have never played.

My falcon is stuffed in a tight entertainment center and so far so good.
