I am downloading it now. It is about 904MB, so it is taking awhile time.

A little bit hipper than Crockett and Tubbs...

Seems like pretty tight gameplay so far. The graphics are great all around as is the soundtrack. Feels like a 1st class production all the way. Vader's voice was just really off though. The right bumper is the key to controlling the chaos.

This title went from a rental at best to def. purchase.

Yeah... I am for sure going to buy this game. I could only wish for multiplayer so I could play online.

But I rather get a great first person game than a crappy multiplayer thrown in with it.

The demo is fun but it's honestly about 4 minutes in length. Very short.

if you run through it just doing the mission yeah but I spent 30 minutes just messing around with the force powers(throwing tie fighters at soldiers. Bending the arch supports so the tie fighters would hit them stuff like that. I'd definatly rent this, maybe buy it used later on. They did seceed in making you finally feel like a jedi.

To the comment above about Vader's voice,I thought the guy had the right tone,it just needed a little bass to give it more weight

Too many systems and games....not enough time or money!

I have to say this is the one multi-platform game I may buy on the Wii instead of the 360......if they get the motion controls right. If not, at least I can enjoy the prettier 360 version. It's a win-win peoples.

Did anyone else think the demo was really dark? I guess I need to check my TV settings since Lego Indiana Jones also seems really dark to me. Maybe something in my TV settings got reset, but I haven't noticed it in movies or other games.

Anyways, demo was good. Loved throwing the droids through the windows and having things briefly sucked out into the vacuum of space before the blast doors would close.

Holy crap this freaking rocks. WOW! I am in love now. I haven't played a video game in a long time that makes you feel so freaking powerful. When you get the charged force push and use it on a door, what an incredible satisfying feeling of bad ass. Man, I love this game. SOOOOOO can't wait now.

Exactly. I played this last night, then chatted about it with one of my close buddies and said that it feels just like a combination of Jedi Knight and Psi-Ops with a little better graphics (though after playing the new Ratchet & Clank on the PS3 in the same timeframe, the graphics on Force Unleashed didn't really impress me at all). Psi-Ops was fun, don't get me wrong, but I really wasn't very impressed by Force Unleashed.

I'm a Star Wars fan so I know I'll play it via rental or something, I have to admit to being disappointed personally...

Just alright for me. Felt like DMC4 w/ a different skin. Graphics were meh.

I'd give it a solid B, not a day one purchase, wouldn't pay more than $40.

I was just about to post about Psi Ops. I don't know the full extent of the powers you will get in The Force Unleashed, but some of the powers in Psi Ops were awesome: Telekinesis Surfing, Pyrokinesis, Mind Control, and Mind Drain.

Maybe its just nostalgia, but I seem to remember having more fun playing that game. Don't get me wrong this demo was fun, but there was something off about the controls. In particular, using the force to move objects felt clunky, and the light saber action was a little disappointing. Also, I am not a fan of Darth Vaders voice.

PS: Give me my Psi Ops sequel damnit!!

Ok, fixed my brightness problem....stupid setting was back to "0" which would explain why it was so dark.

Played through the demo again. Now that the novelty has worn off, I'm kindof meh on this now. While combat is cool, it's not very controllable. Maybe there's just too much stuff to grab, but I just find myself not even bothering with targeting. Just grab something and toss it in the general direction of the bad guys, and the game does the rest.

The one thing I really don't like is I can't seem to throw things at different vertical angles. No matter what I do, I always throw things on a horizontal plane. Not sure I'm explaining that right, but say I'm down in the hangar deck, and I pick up a box or crate or stormtrooper and I want to throw it up at a 45 degree angle into one of the hanging tie fighters. Well, I can raise him up so he's between me and the tie fighter, press my stick to throw him, but he ends up going on a horizontal plane across the hangar deck, rather than up into the tie fighter. I basically have to lift the crate up to be on the same horizontal plane as the tie fighter, then toss it.

I also tried this out when you first enter the hangar deck and you are on the catwalk above the hangar floor. I tried to pick up a crate from the catwalk and throw it down (at a 30 or 45 degree angle) to the hangar floor to knock out a stormtrooper. Couldn't do it.

In other words, throwing objects is strictly limited to a horizontal plane, and vertical angles don't seem to come into play (unless I'm doing something wrong).

Also disappointed that combat seems to be mostly done at a distance, and wish they'd make more use of the lightsaber. I know it's "The Force Unleashed" and not " The Lightsaber Unleashed" but would like to be using it more. Perhaps you get to in other levels. Would love to be able to toss it around boomerang style.

I do recall throwing a stormtrooper at a more vertical angle, and he kept on going that way. I don't recall how I did it, was not anything special.

Well, I don't think it would be "special" but it would allow for some more diversity instead of being limited to a horizontal combat field. Perhaps I'm just doing something wrong.

You can toss the lightsaber boomerang style. Hold the right trigger and hit the X button. I believe that's the combo for tossing your saber.
