Why not do this for the Xbox store with digital downloads? I'd preorder 3 games right now if I didn't have to get the physical discs.

Agreed. They seemed to push digital more than Sony last year and so far Sony is the one with the better digital deals. Best scenario would be the same deal on both physical and digital. I would of just preordered every game I want right now.

Cool

I'm not really into assassins creed games, but that bundle looks pretty sweet. I might have to hold off a couple weeks and get that one. (especially since my girlfriend wants a dance game)

Could always sell the DD codes and get what you want.

That's the plan. I've always had systems before the bundles come out, so I've never bought one before.

Is there a chance of other holiday bundles, or is this likely the only one for now?

Who knows. Could be others as the holidays get closer.

I can't see how they don't do a Halo bundle. I would think that is what most people would want.

I was on the fence for Sunset Drive but I think I am going to take advantage of this. Assassins Creed is the other. The rest I plan on going digital with.
Has anyone cancelled their pre-order and re-ordered it to get the new deal?

Because in the US they don't NEED a Halo MCC bundle to sell Halo MCC. If Microsoft priced MCC at $100, it would sell just as well. And there's going to be a Halo 5 special edition console next year anyway.

OK....
  • Brand new consoles in the sub $300 range after freebies
  • Brand new day1 games for $45 vs. 60 with a little work & patience.
  • Pirate haven (.MKV support; as of the latest update)
  • "Share" Grandma's HBO subscription (coming "very" soon)
  • And last but not least...some pretty damn good games & exclusives.
Is there anything left on the wish list?

Breakfast in bed on demand via Kinect is all that I can think of that has been left out. I would gladly pay a subscription fee for that - oh wait, we already pay big bucks for that...never mind

Just ordered my X1.

dell.com has the Kinect Forza bundle for $499 with a $100 egift card. Got 2% cash back from fatwallet and 5% from dell.

I'm going to use the gift card to get two $50 live gift cards and preorder two new games with the $15 cash back deal.

So final deal after tax/cash back is $493 out of pocket for the system (Kinect + Forza) and two new games.
