Amazon is offering the Assassin's Creed Bundle along with 3 months of XBOX Live and a physical copy of NBA 2K15 for $349.99

Considering I can trade in NBA 2K15 for almost $30 at Best Buy (I don't play sports games) plus having a $20 gift card and 10% off (perks of working at Amazon), I couldn't resist and snagged the bundle.

Damn, that's not a bad deal at all. I think I read somewhere that Sam's club had the console for $299, but they're sold out in most stores.

If I had a Sam's Club membership, that would be a killer deal. But factor in the cost of the membership ($45) and that deal isn't a deal anymore.

I ended up paying $314 after my discount and $20 in Amazon Gift Cards (which I got for free with my Bing Rewards). I ponied up an extra $12 to have it arrive on Saturday, though. But still, I saved quite a bit of money, don't have to worry about a Live sub for the next 3 months and I'm pretty excited to check out some of the exclusives.

Welcome to the XB1!

I think it turned out to be a pretty nice console. Looking forward to hearing your impressions of the system.

You just made my Xbox/gaming month if not year, thank you! I missed the $50 deal around the holidays.

There is still nothing better than instant access to most music (where the hell is Led Zeppelin!!!) and pretty much every music video (uncensored) ever made, in the best quality possible, on the big screen.

it's great that it's just a download code that's not tied to an account until redeemed. someone could potentially just stock up on these codes, give them out to friends, or even sell them.

I bought a couple of years even though I still had a year left on my account. Is there is limit to stacking or is it 3 years like Xbox Live (though did anyone test if Xbox Live's limit has been lifted)?

I might even pick up a couple more to give out to friends as future gifts (bdays, etc.).

I don't know about music, but now you can't add Live time to your account if you have auto-renew off, you have to wait until your time expires. Also, you can't turn auto-renew on without buying time straight from MS while turning it on :-|

I've never had this experience. I only pay for Xbox Live Gold with prepaid 1 year cards. And auto-renew is never enabled. But I've been able to stack time.

Same here. I haven't had auto-renew turned on for years and I stacked time on when I see a really good price.

Fine with me. I always let it expire in case I'm not playing something that requires Live.

Holding the fort on old games that play the same as the new ones, minus the $400 price tag.

You're still lucky then. I used to stack, tried again recently, got an error code, looked up the error code and it says it's because auto-renew is off.

Just bought Metro Redux off Amazon for $19.99 new. Basically you get Metro 2033 remastered and an upgraded version of Metro Last Light (and all DLC?) for $10/ea. Good deal!

State of Decay preorder is up on Microsoft store for $29.99 but you also get a $10 gift card. Really looking forward to trying it out. I'm a zombie game fan and have heard very good things about it.

$305
Xbox One Console
Halo MCC
Extra controller

Time to get a third Xbox One if this is true but can't get it to go through. The deal should be $350. Still trying, maybe they would honor it in store?

I've tried every option to get the $305 bundle price to work. No luck.

$350 for the Console + Halo MCC + Extra Controller works fine.

I have a print out of this page + the URL for reference (in store look-up) and will try to get the store to honor it. Worth a shot.

Anyone buy this 'Family Fun Pack' from Amazon that apparently ends today according to Major Nelson?

$60 for Risk, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Zoo Tycoon, and Max, plus 3 months XBL.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...amazon0b53-20/

I already have Max from Games with Gold, but really I was wondering mostly if the first three games are decent renditions.

I have Trivial Pursuit. It feels kind of dumbed down as far as the gameplay itself is not very flashy, but I enjoy playing it from time to time.

This doesn't sound legit to me. You don't drop a game $20 just a week after launch. Best Buy here in San Diego is still selling it for $59, not $40. I'd be tempted to grab it for $32 tho, with the Gamers Club card.

They are normally spot on with leaked info. from early advertisements/circulars.

EDIT:

Just to be clear, the Hardline sale at BestBuy starts on 3/29 (will be in Sunday's ad).
Also, if you already purchased the game at BB, you should have no trouble getting a price adjustment, and then some:

If Best Buy lowers our price during the return and exchange period on a My Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked purchase, we will, upon request, apply the 20% discount on the new lower price. For example, If a Gamers Club Unlocked member paid $47.99 for a new game priced at $59.99 and Best Buy lowers the price to $49.99 during the return and exchange period, we will, upon request, price match the new price with the 20% discount and sell the My Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked member the game for $39.99.

I doubt Hardline is selling well. Probably explains the sale.
