Lol. Was gonna say. 53.99 doesn't sound like a deal at all.

LOL. this sounds like one of those shopping network deals where they sell last year's item at a 20% deal and say it's a wonderful price.

Yeah I know, I jumped the gun on that one. Speaking of jumping the gun I got a sad story/lesson to share.

So I was on one of those apps where people sell unwanted items (clothes, games, furniture, etc...). This guy said he had a $100 Xbox gift card for sale for $50. Thought this was a super deal so I jumped on it. Met the dude (didn't look shady) and inspected the card (looked legit). Long story short, it wasn't even activated and therefore worthless. Got scammed. So now I gotta try to track down this kid for my money. He blocked me from contacting him on the app. However, I found him on Facebook and it shows where he works. Called the restaurant to verify he works there, so guess I'll be going to pay him a visit tomorrow...

No, I'm not gonna get physical with him. I got too much lose at the moment. Anyway, I just contacted his employer and gave him a vague description of the situation. Left the manager my number and told him that the dude has 24hrs to respond or I'm going to the cops.

It looks like 'finally' Xbox will give discounts for pre-ordered digital games. You get 15 000 credits, which is $15. The current list is here : https://rewards.xbox.com/gamesondemand/

It includes Titanfall 2, CoD 13 (I think that it the number), Dishonored 2, FF XV, Watchdog 2, Dead rising 4, Skyrim, Resident Evil Biohazzard, Dragonball Universe 2, Steep.

For those like me that have multiple Xbox's and multiple kids playing the games (and by saying kids that includes me, lol) at the same time, digital is the way to go, and getting a discount makes it better. Best part is to buy Microsoft gift cards when they are on sale (I usually like to stock up when the discount reaches at least 20%), save up your Bing points (right now there is a discount of about 25% for Xbox Gift cards) and spend that on above games. Significantly reduces the net price.

Xbox and PS3 Gamertag = Xerostomia
Wii = I'm too lazy to get the number

Yea i can see your point, but I still like my hard discs for resale purposes. Until they go 100% digital, I'm sticking with discs.

Thanks, I agree with the all digital route. Bummed BF1 wasn't on the list, but they still have the $10 Microsoft Store gift code promo for pre-order, probably going to get that, as that's the only digital discount I've seen out there.

Great, time to stock up! Hopefully this means Sony will start doing the same thing with PS4 titles. Unless they ars already been doing this?

Raiden V (Xbox One Digital Download) $12.50 w/ Xbox Live Gold

Raiden V (Xbox One Digital Download) $12.50 w/ Xbox Live Gold:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/stor...v/bxc1k12nqftf

This is normally a $50 game (I know because I painfully paid for it a few weeks ago because I figured this is the type of game that never goes on sale).

Rocket League $15 for Gold members (normally $20)

Is that why there are suddenly two Borderlands games in my "Ready To Install" section when I didn't do anything put them there?

That happened to me before when there was a free-play Overwatch weekend last month. It disappeared promptly when the weekend was over.

MS is giving 50,000 Rewards Points (convertible into $50 MS Store Credit) plus a "select" free game if you purchase from the MS Store by December 31st. The email I got about the offer contains a code for free expedited shipping. Destructoid says:

Quote:
The free game of choice is from a list of 19 games and has some decent picks such as the recently released ReCore and The BioShock Collection.

I cannot find that list anywhere (been nice of Destructoid to disclose it ). I am soooo tempted, but I just got slapped hard financially by a recent move and I really shouldn't, at least not this coming month. I may do it anyway and suffer for it .

This offer almost got me to bite just for the points and game, but I think I will continue to hold out for the Scorpio. It certainly is tempting though.
